uBhubesi is a folk tale of a man who is a prodigal son to his mother and an absent father to his son. It looks into the inevitable reality of how we as humans sometimes grow apart and disconnect as growth and change happens in our lives. What can keep us going is hope during those times of grieving or praying for loved ones that have gone astray - that they will return and find their way back home.
