Jabulile Majola is a South African artist whose music is tender, unguarded and honest, anchored in hope. Orphaned at birth and raised by a pastor at a children's home in rural KwaZulu-Natal, he writes from a place of faith and resilience, exploring identity, memory and belonging. His songs are rooted in provenance, drawing on where he comes from and the people who shaped him. Following his debut EP, Isitifiketi, that work has found listeners across South Africa and further afield, carried by a sound that stays quiet and open even at its most searching. Along the way he has completed a sold-out 17-date national tour and performed at the Cape Town International Jazz Festival, The Baxter, Kirstenbosch Summer Concerts, SXSW and will be performing at WOMEX late this year. He now prepares for the release of his debut album, Ipasi, on 11 September 2026.
